Non-binding Judicial Opinions
In some countries, a judicial body may have the power to issue statements about the constitutionality of a law, but lack the power to void it. This arrangement may have a significant impact on the legislation in question by, for instance, encouraging an executive veto of the law, but does not place a formal restraint on the legislature.
