Constitution building processes which result in the adoption of new constitutions offer practical know-how based on actual lessons learnt in specific contexts. This kind of knowledge is in demand in other countries, particularly where the challenge is to include groups, such as women and minorities, or to effectively organize public hearings and constitutional assemblies. The community of members is an exclusive online forum of constitution building practitioners such as current and former members of constituent assemblies, constitutional commissions, members of civil society, academia and other private actors interacting and sharing knowledge, opinions and experiences in common areas of interest which are consolidated into a body of knowledge on the website. Membership in the community is based on nomination by an existing member.
