Azerbaijan Parliament to discuss expanding powers of Constitutional Court to review international decisions

<p><span>A draft law “On the possibility of the implementation by the Republic of Azerbaijan of the decision of the interstate body for the protection of human rights and freedoms”, was tabled at the meeting of the parliamentary Committee on legal policy and state building on March 17.</span></p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>The author of the draft law, MP Rafael&nbsp;<a href="http://en.apa.az/tag/Jabrayil">Jabrayil</a>ov presented the document. &nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>According to the draft law, the Constitutional Court is given new powers in relation to the definition of the possibility of execution of decisions passed by international organizations on human rights and freedoms in Azerbaijan,&nbsp;<a href="http://en.apa.az/tag/Jabrayil">Jabrayil</a>ov said.</p>
