Baburam blames old parties for Nepal constitution delay

<p>The political forces that were established following 1990 movement were never in favor of the constituent assembly, says Unified Maoists party leader Baburam. </p> <p>He also opines that the violent conflict led by his party was primarily for constituting the constituent assembly.</p> <p>“They were not in favor of republican, secular and federal order. Their decision to accept the new order was only situational. Though they have come to this fold, there exists serious conflict in the present scheme because of the inconsistent mandate. The new order was established by the movement itself but after the failure of the first CA the same old political forces were brought back to power in the second CA.” </p>
