Donetsk Republic to adopt constitution after elections — parliament speaker

<p><span class="b-material__preview">The elections of the head and parliament of the republic are scheduled for November 2</span></p><p>Lawmakers of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) will draft and adopt a new constitution after the elections due in early November, the head of DPR’s Supreme Council said on Thursday </p><p>“This will definitely take place after the elections,” Boris Litvinov told TASS. “I suppose that two normative documents - the DPR’s domestic and foreign policy framework and the declaration of sovereignty will serve as a basis for the constitutional law.”</p> <p>The Supreme Council of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic scheduled the elections of the head and parliament of the republic for November 2.</p>
