Egypt: PM - Constitution Ensures Rights of Women

<p>Premier Ibrahim Mahlab asserted that the constitution backs Egyptian women.</p><div id="in-article-p-1"></div><div id="in-article-p-minus-12"></div><p>This came during his speech on Monday 7/7/2014 at a conference organized by the National Council for Women (NCW) to launch the national strategy to combat violence used against women.</p><div id="in-article-p-2"></div><div id="in-article-p-minus-11"></div><p>He added that the constitution has equated between women and men in civil, political, social and cultural rights.</p>
