Greece: New Democracy MPs Propose Changes in Constitution

<p>A committee of New Democracy MPs proposes changes in the&nbsp;<a href="http://greece.greekreporter.com/tag/greek-constitution/">Greek Constitution</a>&nbsp;including the reduction of lawmakers in parliament to 200 and that the president of the Hellenic republic should have more power.</p><p>The committee was appointed by&nbsp;Prime Minister Antonis Samaras. The proposals need the prime minister’s approval and at least fifty votes before they are tabled in parliament for discussion.</p>
