<p>Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade Senator A.J. Nicholson has shot down a recommendation from the Opposition Jamaica Labour Party (JLP) that a referendum be held to determine whether Jamaica should replace Britain’s&nbsp;Privy Council with the Trinidad-based&nbsp;Caribbean Court of&nbsp;Justice (CCJ) as its final court of appeal.</p>
