In the Maldives, proposed motion would dissolve decentralization chapter of constitution

MP Abdulla Jabir son Tuesday submitted a motion proposing to dissolve the decentralisation chapter of the constitution. As per the bill proposed by Jabir, the purpose of the bill is to amend the constitution to economise government spending in response to COVID-19 by reducing the spending under the decentralisation chapter.
