Nepal: 49 member panel to draft rules of procedure

<p><span></span></p><p> The Constituent Assembly (CA) on Wednesday formed a 49-member cross-party committee tasked with preparing the rules of procedures for both the CA and Parliament.&nbsp;</p><p> The large committee, consisting of members from all parties represented in the CA, is entrusted to prepare the rules of procedures in a way that assists the promulgation of a new constitution within a year. &nbsp; &nbsp;</p><p> The rules of procedure shall cover issues relating to the efficient functioning of the CA as per the Interim Constitution of Nepal 2007, as well as the formation of committees among other tasks.</p>
