<p>Nepalis wearied by a months-long economic blockade are
hoping for a return to normality after the government agreed to amend the
country’s new constitution in line with demands from its powerful neighbour
India. Nepal’s 28m population has endured crippling shortages of fuel, cooking
gas, medicines and other essential supplies since late September, when the
country promulgated a new constitution that drew New Delhi’s ire.</p>
