Nepal CA fails to reach consensus on electoral system

<p>The Constituent Assembly’s Political Dialogue and Consensus Committee (PDCC) has failed to reach an agreement on the electoral system to be adopted in the new constitution on Tuesday.&nbsp;</p><p><br>The committee representatives from the major parties— UCPN (Maoist), Nepal Congress (NC) and CPN-UML— were sharply divided over the electoral system, one of the contentious issues among the parties, in Tuesday’s meeting.</p>
