Nepal PM asks parties to be flexible over new constitution

"A new constitution is important for peace, stability and democracy; therefore it should be issued in the stipulated time," he said.
<p><span>Nepal Prime Minister Sushil Koirala on Sunday asked all political parties in the country to abandon their rigidity and show flexibility for the timely promulgation of a new constitution.&nbsp;</span></p><p><span></span><br><br><span>"A new constitution could be drafted as per the calendar if parties gave up their rigid attitude," Koirala said at an event here.&nbsp;</span></p><p><span></span><br><br><span>Speaking at the 3rd National Trade Union Conference organized by Joint Trade Union Coordination Centre, the Prime Minister pointed out the need for accommodating aspirations of all to promulgate a new constitution by the January 22 deadline.&nbsp;</span></p>
