Nepal: UML positive to updating Interim Constitution as new

<p>CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli said the Constituent Assembly (CA) can update the Interim Constitution into a new one, if it can not draft the fresh statute.&nbsp;</p><p><br>Responding to a delegation of Reporters' Club Nepal at his residence in Balkot of Bhaktapur on Friday, the UML Chairman said his party does not object if major parties agree on updating the Interim Constitution.&nbsp;<br>"But it should not lead the nation toward violence and conflict and maintain democratic values and national integrity," he said.&nbsp;</p><p><br>UML is also ready to issue a constitution keeping disputed issues aside for a time being, he said.&nbsp;<br>He also reiterated that his party will not let the constitution separate Madhes from hilly region while carving the federal structure.&nbsp;</p>
