<p>Nobel Prize-winning author Kenzaburo Oe warned that the nation's pacifist Constitution is reaching a crisis point due to the Abe administration's moves to reinterpret it to allow Japan to exercise the right to collective self-defense. Oe, 79, made the remark before a packed audience of about 2,000 people on June 10 at a lecture to mark the 10th anniversary of the founding of the Article 9 Association at Shibuya Kokaido Hall in Tokyo’s Shibuya Ward.</p>
