Sri Lanka Marxist party ready to change constitution and economic system

<p>Sri Lanka's Marxist party, Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna (JVP) says it is ready to implement a new Constitution as the country's outdated present Constitution has led to a dictatorship.&nbsp;"We hope to implement a new constitution. The present constitution has created a constitutional dictatorship. The present executive has swallowed the Parliament and the Judiciary," JVP leader Anura Kumara Dissanayake said Thursday.</p><p><br>Addressing the media after a meeting with the Buddhist Chief Prelate of Malwatte Chapter Most Venerable Thibbatuwawe Sri Siddhartha Sumangala Thero in Kandy today, Dissanayake said the present Constitution has obstructed achieving unity among the Sinhalese, Tamil and Muslims.</p>
