Amendments to outlaw discriminatory practices and preserve civil liberties have been adopted, as the government pushes ahead with constitutional reforms.
Sudan’s ruling body, the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC), has ratified a set of sweeping changes to the country’s penal code in a bid to implement its constitutional mandate and strengthen its democratic transition.
