Zambia: Grand Coalition to make constitution submission concerning elections, citizenship and government

<p>After shunning making submissions to the committee on legal and human rights on the constitution amendment bill, the Grand Coalition on the Constitution has cast stones at the ruling Patriotic Front for not appearing before the Cornelius Mweetwa led committee.&nbsp;<span style="line-height: 20.4px;">The Grand Coalition has labelled the constitution making process a sham and has used every opportunity to scandalize it.</span></p><p>Currently the bill is at committee stage with members of the public and institutions invited to make submissions before it is taken back to the house.&nbsp;<span style="line-height: 20.4px;">Coalition chairperson Father Leonard Chiti said his organization was working with opposition members of parliament to ‘salvage’ the constitution.&nbsp;</span></p>
