<p>&nbsp;</p><p>OPPOSITION MMD president Nevers Mumba is happy that Government has adopted his party’s position on the draft constitution enactment process.&nbsp;<span style="line-height: 20.3999996185303px;">Dr Mumba said on social media that as party leader, he is happy that Government has decided to adopt some contentious issues his party has been raising.&nbsp;</span></p><p><strong>One of these is the enactment of the less contentious articles in the draft constitution through Parliament without waiting for a referendum.</strong></p><p>Among the major clauses are the 50 percent-plus-one, presidential running mate and fixing the date of the five-year tripartite elections, he said.</p>
