Tunisia Vote for Constituent Assembly Delayed

Tunisia’s interim Prime Minister, Beji Caid Essebsi announced Wednesday that the interim government had accepted a request from the electoral commission to postpone the country’s elections from July 24 to October 23, due to technical difficulties related to the timeous registration of voters, (France 24). The elections are for the selection of delegates to a constituent assembly that will be charged with drafting a new constitution.
