Constitucion de Olmedo

This text, presented here in Spanish, from the 11th of November, 1820, states how it has been a month since the political transformation, and Guayaquil (Ecuador) already has a juridical base.  Thanks to the rapid management of José Joaquín de Olmedo, a mathematician, doctor, and legislator with years of experience, the Provisional Constitutional Laws of the Province of Guayaquil had been approved on that day.  The text discusses the reasons it can and can't be considered a Constitution.
