لمحات إستراتيجية حول قانون المحكمة الاتحادية العليا العراقية

Iraq’s Federal Supreme Court was estasblished more than a decade ago, even before the 2005 constitution entered into force.  The parliament is now considering legislation to bring the Court’s functions and structures in line with the 2005 constitution, but the process is heavily politicized and has proceeded very slowly.  This paper places the parliamentary debate in context, and offers reflections on how best to structure the Federal Supreme Court’s functions.
