New Tanzania Constitution should give Vice Presidency to Zanzibar, says, CA Committee

<p>COMMITTEE number 11 of the Constituent Assembly (CA) has proposed the new constitution to pronounce president of the Revolutionary Government of Zanzibar as a vice-president of the United Republic of Tanzania.&nbsp;"Members of the committee, while discussing Chapter seven of the Draft Constitution, suggested that in a bid for Zanzibar's president to have a notable status internationally, he/she should be recognized as the vice-president of Tanzania," the committee's Vice-Chairman, Mr Hamad Masauni, said on Thursday.</p>
