Nigerian constitutional review committee to embark on public participation tour

<p>The House of Representatives committee on the review of the 1999 constitution has concluded arrangements to embark on advocacy tour of the six geo-political zones with a view to educating Nigerians on the ongoing amendment exercise. The committee agreed to embark on the advocacy tour in order to sensitize Nigerians on the importance of the amendment of the 1999 constitution.</p><p>The committee is also to sensitise Nigerians on the need to participate in the amendment process so that they could come up with their views that would help the committee arrive at a very good report that would change Nigeria for good.</p>
