Opinions of Senegalese constitutional experts on the 2000 constitutional reform process in Senegal. In this interview with Senegalese newspaper Sud Quotidien, Professors El Hadj Mbodj and Ismaila Madio Fall share their views on various issues defining the process. These include what should be the best political system for Senegal and how it should be determined, the separation of powers, what possible compromises can be negotiated between the presidentialists and parliamentarists as well as how to resolve political conflicts - a high probability in a parliamentary system - between the president and a the prime minister.
