International IDEA and the Foundation for Democratic Process are jointly offering a course on Constitution Building for Democracy, 16 - 20 April 2012 in Lusaka, Zambia.

The course is open to individuals from Namibia, Rwanda, South Sudan, Tanzania, Zambia, and Zimbabwe.

International IDEA, in partnership with the Egyptian Association for Community Enhancement Participation (EACPE) is convening a three day South-South dialogue on the theme “Strengthening Constitutional Legitimacy through inclusive and participatory drafting processes”.

International IDEA and the Barcelona International Peace Resource Center are partnering to offer a course on Constitution Building for Democracy, 21-25 November 2011 in Barcelona, Spain.

The Constitution Building Programme of International IDEA, in partnership with the Non-Aligned Movement Center for South-South Technical Cooperation (NAM-CSSTC), is jointly organizing an upcoming training event in Jakarta, Indonesia, 13-17 June 2011.  The training is on The Dynamics of Power Sharing, one of the eight modules of the Constitution Building Training Programme. It is planned that approximately 25 participants drawn from legislatures, executive arms of government, political parties and movements, civil society, and the media across ASEAN member countries and Timor Leste will participate in the upcoming training.
